This DIY Soothing After Sun Spray felt so good after spending a whole day in the sun at the amusement park! I made it using Young Living's Cooling Peppermint oil as well as Lavender + Copaiba essential oils which are both soothing and great for promoting skin health.

Lavender essential oil has a sweet, herbaceous, floral aroma + includes the naturally occurring constituents linalyl acetate, linalool, + ocimene. It's a very calming oil that helps to cleanse + soothe minor skin irritations making it great for after you've been in the sun. This highly versatile oil is great for beginners! It's a must have for every home. From skin care products to relaxing routines, this oil can infuse and enhance many areas of your life. Copaiba essential oil is known for its gentle, woodsy aroma. This super gentle oil has some of the highest known levels of beta-caryophyllene and offers a uniquely sweet aromatic profile, which helps create a relaxing atmosphere when it is diffused or applied topically. When applied topically to the skin it helps to promote a clear, smooth complexion and has excellent moisturizing properties among other things. Peppermint essential oil provides a familiar, recognizable scent, but it's so much more than just a nostalgic, fresh aroma. You can also apply it topically to create a cool, tingling sensation on the skin, which can be very soothing after hard physical activity or a day in the sun. We love the cooling sensation it provides.

Aloe Vera Gel is an amazing nutrient rich plant that is renowned for its incredible soothing, hydrating and moisturizing properties that are beneficial for the skin. Aloe vera contains many vitamins including A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12 as well as minerals like: calcium, sodium, iron, magnesium, potassium, & copper which are essential for proper growth and function of all the body’s systems. It has many other properties that benefit your health too. This spray will leave your skin feeling cooled and refreshed. It will also help keep your skin healthy!
